One of our favorite ways to save money when shopping online is ebates. It's easy to sign up and start earning 1-20 percent cash back on nearly every online store. In my experience you can also combine with other coupon codes or promotions.

Another place we've found good deals before is Restaurant.com. The problem with the site is that the gift certificates that they offer are full of restrictions. These restrictions vary by restaurant so you have to really pay attention when you purchase one. Many do not include alcohol and require weeknight dining. Still, if you're judicious in your selections you can find some great deals.

You can other Groupon like deals over at Deal On. We'll keep an eye on this site and consider moving it to the front page in the future.

The Daily Candy website has a variety of deals that are usually in the fashion realm.

Village Vines charges you $10 to make a reservation at select restaurants. After you pay that though, you're entitled to 30% off your bill at that restaurant. Not bad, especially if you eat and drink a lot.

Price Bunch hasn't been updating their deals as much as we'd like for the front page, so we've moved them back here for now...

Mama Loot is a neat niche group buying website focusing on mothers. Great idea and shows you how far this trend has come when there are niche sites like this.

Another social buying site we're keeping an eye on for the front page is HomeRun.com. They seem to offer smaller deals than your average social buying site, but they also offer free deals, which is something we haven't seen before.

Two Buck Duck is definitely headed for our home page soon. Why? We just like that it's a different twist on the group buying trend. Also they pull some pretty great deals that you can get your hands on for ... you guessed it ... $2.

Open Table Spotlight is a new program for the popular reservation site that offers 50% off some pretty nice restaurants.

DADO is a deal site that some times has worthwhile offers for the Chicago area..
